Harmony and love

Back from a long hiatus. A lot of things happened during this period. Some good and some not so good. Lemme collate my thoughts...

So, first up, school's started a month for me. Can finally feel that things are getting a little out of hand. Haha but I dont mean that I want things to get out of control. Just meant that, I kinda expected that subjects will get more difficult as time passes by. Learning more new things and still, Im not using my brains. But well, this is the learning journey right? Remembered during Year 1 I also did feel this way. So, a pat on my shoulder and "move on Elaine!"

Chingay's on track already. Second chingay training tomorrow. Still in the midst of building rapport. Went for Media Brief at PA. Was on the news :) Media Brief definitely has strengthen the bonds between the trainers and our comrades :) and its fun! we saw Mr Yammy! And he's such cutie pieee!!! The way he danced... is... so... epic, old school and ke ai! And so, media brief actual and rehearsal made us all damn wet. No other performances are as wet as ours. Wet from head to toes, from inside out. Owned.

Sensei video yesterday was really very encouraging and inspiring. Then I thought, "aiya wasted didnt ask Geraldine to watch together." Inspired by the junior choir, though they are not professional choir singers and THEY ARE YOUNG LIKE 7 YEARS OLD? their spirit and enthusiam is there! TOTALLY THERE! After watching that, deep down in my heart I thought, even the young kids behave like that, whats more young adults like us. We should learn from them. (90 degrees bow) They sang Ha-Ha (mother), and one very hip song. All of cuteee! omgah i cant take it :/ And then, testimonials by YWD and YMD from Argentina and Taiwan respectively. Their testimonials are reaffirming, revitalising and not to mention, inspiring too! Too rush down from work aint a wrong choice. Made the rushing all worthwhile :) Cos' its the heart that matters. Then, here comes the Sensei's words of encouragement. He never fails to lighten and brighten up the day by his random yet heart-warming questions. Even if I were to forget everything mentioned in the video, all I know was I was really inspired by them, their spirit, their efforts their determination to always return back to M&D spirit and basing on the Mystic Law. Very touched indeed... The people behave like what philosophy they learnt. Study the world foremost philosophy. You should know we humans shouldnt behave the way many are right now. Precisely that, we should not let our mentor down, and continue to strive on for the happiness of oneself and others! Harmony! :)

We should all be humble. Even if you guys are not, I must be humble.

My gastric pain from yesterday till now. So I shouted, "ma! help me get some milk!" She's like "HUH! WHAT!(did I hear wrongly)" cos... I dont drink milk. never. even if she asks me to, I wont. So.. yea. hahahhah :P

Friends

Friends are important, influential. However, not so in all cases. Was actually cracking my brain thinking what are friends, what are friends for. One thing I concluded was, Friends are for making use of each other. Right? You make use of your friends when you needed something from them, could be, printing notes, copying notes you missed out, their hugs when you needed one, their care and concern when you are down. And yet, not exactly making use, because they make use of you, you make use of them would be called as Helping Each Other. haha So, friends help each other. Its a kinda unspoken relationship that is, when you help that person you dont expect the person to help you back, but the person will just help you when you needed it. Of course, I have friends who totally relied on me, which I dont really like. Though Sociology great man once teaches to make other rely on you and yourself being less dependent on others, this is true for organisational theories, not individuals as a human. Friends are influential if the person's mindset is not stable, unsure and undetermined of what he himself is doing. Kind of sad that I have being living in others life. Not the kind that I have no purpose in life. But, I might not be behaving like what I should behave. And how am I supposed to behave? I can clearly say that no one knows the answer to that. Just dont settle and keep moving on. Find your true self. Its versatile, not fixed like how personality changes so do people. So, coming back to think, Im me even though I think I might not have behave like myself. This 'unique' and criss-crossed thinking is uniquely me.

Quoting to the friends issue. Yes I do have friends issue. Im only close to a few people. And just merely friends with some. Maybe some friendships are in between the closest and mere, just like a few. I dont know if they will reciprocate, but whatever, Ive learned through the hard way, to treat people with sincerity. Sensei has taught us, just like how parents told their kids that what is good and whats not. Kids just dont learn till they learn it the hard way.I do regret and reflect. Thats only when things seems to reach its dead end or... when things turned out really bad. Just hope I will be able to change the things around for good :) all the best to me? 

Things that saddened me a lot is, when you are not making use of your friends, or rather you are letting them suck you dry and they turn around to accuse you are the one sucking them dry. For example, friend A and B do not know each other, only through me that they got together really well. I think. Then, when the time arrive that I am meeting friend A, contacting her via smses. She did not reply. Then, when I reach the place and book seats already to realise that friend A and B are together and have gotten their own seats at the other side. And Im alone. Thanks really. So, look, Ive booked the seats and so called asked her out in advance. Guess, this is how I treated my friends previously thats why they treated me this way? Im a bad friend then. And another case somewhat similar, I booked seats for people and Im not supposed to. Smsed the person. The person MIA like how Friend A did. And at that moment, I knew that history gonna repeat. Im gonna sit alone again. I could have shift my seats to their place but no because I thought if this is the way how we treat each other then, there is no need for us to get together, we might be sitting close but our hearts are not. We are distance apart. Utterly disappointed by them and much so, by myself.

the above title doesnt make any sense. hahha just like how it reflects the owner's of this blog- senseless.

Right, school's been okay for me so far and we are already in the second week of schooling! Still accumulating loads of questions throughout the whole week. Cos 1 lesson per week. And am gonna spam teachers with the various questions I have. hehehheheh

Yesterday was my Chengsan gathering. Pretty fun and enjoyable. Get to know more awesome people and kids. And, the games section that me and my friends were in charged of turned out rather great, better than I thought. opps. So... when I was on my way to the gathering place, on train, I had some weird, awkward, worst mrt encounter/experience. really. FIRST TIME. feeling, "shit, someone save me, i wanna get off this train already!!" yea, that kind. And plus, that time, I was having a high tide. what the hell.

By the way, I beginning to get irritated by Singapore's service e.g. Bus, Train, Postal. I guess you guys need not me to further elaborate on the Bus and Train cos those living in Singapore/you who live in Singapore might have already experience those, just to name a few, faulty train, irregular arrival timings of buses, wrong deduction of the transport fares, and with the ever increasing FTs or rather foreigners the transports are getting squeezier. And no, Im not complaining bout the incoming foreigners. The topic's still staying on track regarding the services in Singapore. Postal. Somewhat not experienced widely by the people unless you need to mail things frequently. And so, it happened that Im dumb enough to mail my registration fees via snail mail. Not exactly snail mail, cos Ive registered for Registered Mail like duh right? Cos there's important stuff in it. So, it provides me with the tracking function. Then, it took forever to reach UK, thats after a week. And its okay, cos I understand that it has go through packaging with other mails, then to travel a long distance, then break down into different regions i.e. the Post Office. But here comes the problem! I "gave" them a 2 weeks grace period to send the stuff to the place! 2 weeks hello? its like in singapore, you snail mail a package to your friend it'll take around 3-5 working days right? at most 5 days. Yes, I know, UK is wayyy larger, I believe in a larger state, they would have more post offices, more workers, more efficient right! Till now, the fuss I have is with UK, not singapore, thats what many of you who are still blur blur following my entry thought about, yes? Because of this waiting period that I cant take it anymore that I barged into the post office I frequent to enquire on the things. This worker said that he'll help me file an enquiry over to the UK side. I guess what he meant was, file an enquiry to ask the Singapore Post to help me ask the UK side. And I asked how long would it take for them to get back to me, 1 weeks- 2 weeks he said. "Oright, needa wait again," I thought. But who knows, the customer service got back to me within 3 days! or rather, 1 day only. Was so happy, then the person said, somewhat like this enquiry service only helps to track the mail in SINGAPORE, once it goes overseas, I have to PERSONALLY ASK THE OVERSEAS RESPECTIVE POST OFFICE FOR ENQUIRY. LIKE WHAT THE HELL. I paid for the registered mail, hoping they will get my mail SAFELY to the destination, london to be exact. Then, it is what happened?! Long delay that I dont even know if my mail is lost or delayed. and obviously, when I barged into the post office to ask about the status of my mail, I know my mail has reached UK, but its 2 weeks in UK already, I NEED TO KNOW WHERE THE HELL MY MAIL HAS GONE TO. Still on its way to london? or lost?

I dont pay this much to receive this kinda service. This worker obviously does not know what I want. And in the mail, the personnel did not provide me with any methods to contact the Royal Mail. So what now? I have tried checking ways to contact, but no, I have to call. Then, Ill need to pay additional for the overseas calling. like wtf right? IF ONLY I KNEW IT EARLIER, AND IF I WERE MORE DECISIVE I WONT HAVE TO DO THAT BANK DRAFT AND WASTED 10BUCKS, I WOULDNT HAVE SEND REGISTERED MAIL OVERSEAS NEITHER DID I KNOW IT WILL TAKE THIS 3 WEEKS LONG AND WASTED $3.30. Ending up, I might have to pay even more for the follow up. what the hell what the hell.
