At your bidding

"I wanna get a car!", yells E.

Hello wellos! :) Back from a short hiatus. Increasing work load, getting more tuition and guitar assignments. Anyway, have been practising on a few non-classical pieces via tabs. Like The moon represents my heart (yue liang dai biao wo de xin), River flows in you. Refer to www.ultimate-guitar.com for more chords or tablature for songs you'll like to play!

And uhm, you know buy one get one free? Ill just like you to check this out:

He is really good, and you are missing things out if you have yet to know him (not personally of cos)
He plays the guitar and piano! And, he's only... I wont tell you how old is he. Go check out his youtube profile! He's really young.

NDP is nearing, kinda excited about that? hahha This year's theme is Majulah! The singapore spirit. For singaporeans, perhaps it does take us a few seconds/minutes/hours/days (right, im starting to crap) to think about what is the singapore spirit. Being kiasu is one, speaking the Sing langauge is another. Being controversial? yes? Political or Singapore issues never fail to make most of us 'hype' up. Election sees through people supporting their parties like its world cup finals/semi finals. The recent 'trend' in dumping bodies in the reservoirs or parks and let em' rot. And the yet-to-implement hike in bus fares. Damn it?

Read the forum a few days back, spotted one reader whose view totally same as mine. We know that SBS or SMRT service aint good, everyone knows that. So, Im not going to make a big fuss outta that. Its like rubbing salt onto their wound. But Im gonna create another 'wound'. Look, how many of us do check out the electronic meter that deducts our bus fare? No? How sure are you that the meter is not faulty i.e. deduct correct fare.

1st step. If you spotted that the meter is faulty, and wants a refund, do note that you will have to take note of the bus/mrt trips on that day, timings, bus stop, if best, the bus number.

2nd step. And then, go for a refund, you will have to register, it takes 10mins or so. Making you all embarrassed when there is a LONG queue and only one counter is available. It makes you feel like a sinner for making people wait for so long, just for that maximum 70cents refund? And that, the job doesnt end there.

3rd step. After registering, you will have to wait for a few days, then can you get back our money. Note, 70cents only.

How many of us are willing to spend that time and that trip down to get back just 70cents only, when if you went down delibrately by bus costs you $1.40 at least. So, no to both questions right! Do count the number of passengers taking the bus with faulty meters, wow! How much have the SBS/SMRT operators earn in EXTRA?
I quote the reader, "if the operators are fining people who dont pay the correct fares, then what about the bus drivers/operators (since the electronic meter is theirs) who deduct our fares wrongly? Shall the commuters charge/fine them as well?"

According to inSing.com, one of the articles, it said something like if the operators dont increase the fare, be prepared to see the drop in the bus service standards. WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! Its not as if the bus service are good now. ITS LOUSY LIKE SHIZZ. I wanna justify that its not that SBS is lousy ever since they started, its was good. WAS. Not until recently, this year or last year, that I feel that the bus timing are irregular, this irregular timings even apply to feeder bus/ looping bus cos its not as if the feeder buses have to go around the whole of singapore thus, not so subjected to the traffics!

I just thought, maybe its good if they can have some CONSTRUCTIVE suggestions box/website for commuters to post their thoughts. SBS will be able to review it. If not, singaporeans or the affected ones i.e. the adult fares, will be doing non-stop complaints on faulty bus, bad service, wrong deducted fares, faulty MRT. Some people even think that monopolising the bus industry is good for us, cos no competition, so no fare hike. Bull shit? Its the competition that keeps the prices low, hello? For SBS, its hard to either monopolised or not. Because, SBS IS ALREADY SO WIDELY KNOWN IN SG! Unless, other bus companies provide us with better service, lower price than SBS at this juncture. The reason for them increasing price was...? COE?

Whatever it is, I still think that government has to review that fare deducted for tertiary students/needy people. Food prices are increasing, Chicken Rice no longer costs 2bucks but 3bucks-5bucks. Fuel/oil prices are increasing, Coe is increasing. Everything is increasing except the pay/income and old model electronics. Everything just has to be managed well, otherwise we see singapore standing at the worldwide's peak, but the citizens cant even keep up the pace of her developing.

ps: if you realise, i do ask ignorant questions as some of you may deem it to be. Then, I kindly ask for your understanding and generiosity to share the knowledge/actual facts with me. that is if you know me personally.

If only you know me

Cute boys. I think they look way better when they were young. Emma looks just as pretty when she was young.
How can we say that we know our own friends when sometimes, we dont even know what we are doing. Had some disturbances lately, partly due to work and friends. Miscommunication I would say. Thinking back of which, these are merely small daily lives obstacles are many will go through. Do note, I write 'small'. Therefore, after much upset-ness, I regained by genki and move on. Cos' Im sure others are in much deeper shit than I am. Moreover, challenges are those are polish our character yea? Im not being oblivious to obstacles, Im just accepting them.

For future outings, I think I would just texted the rest if Im unsure of my attendance or cannot make it. Cos' you cant 100% for sure that your friend will convey the message or convey the RIGHT message. (This is being responsible for our own words. And not let anothers take the responsibility of our actions. Nothing to do with trust.) Before Im gonna write any further about that issue, am gonna shut up and zip it up. All that I concluded was, my friend is really a true friend. She may not understand me fully, but at least she bother to care and bother to get 'angry'. Thanks from deepest of my heart. (Im not trying to be mushy here. I hate being so... romantic. EWW srsly.)

I can really feel karma acting up. All thanks to me for pangseh-ing my friends and how I treat my family- like taking all for granted. But Im happy! haha and glad that obstacles are coming my way! Cos' that would mean that Im able to transform the bad to the good. Dont understand right? Is like an object will lots of dirt trapped inside, on the surface it might seem to be clean and clear of dust but deep in, its full of dirt. And people are oblivious of it, and couldnt be bothered to clean it. Whereas, object will lots of dirt inside, due to practising of the law, manages to release the dirt out, onto the surface, people will then be able to see it clearly and do the cleaning action.

Feeling for the kid whose parents terminate their relation with the tuition agency due to their irresponsibility cos' they'd just stopped their kid from learning one good technique to overcome certain types of seemingly hard questions. if only...

And, harry potter! It all ends at July 14. Im sure many are catching the last portion of the sequel! Because I am too! Just completed my so-called HP marathon by finishing the latest, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part1. I think to watch this show, its good to do some minor research on the things that're mentioned previously to get a better and clearer idea of whats going on, perhaps in the last battle. e.g. knowing what are horcruxes, whats with the chamber of secret that Hermione kept mentioning in Part1. What are the hallows. I think those are pretty simple read and understandable.

Some recruit tried to swim out of tekong. lol Im sure that guy gotta be some swimming marathon champion. trying to challenge his limits and break the record of swimming a few miles. HAHHAHAHAH he could be long distance swimmer yea?

:)

Prime point of faith.

Reason why I started my post today in this short phrase is that I didnt want my post to become too stupid by saying "hello everyone!" or whatever shizz nonsense like that. And that, Prime point of faith sums up the things Im gonna say below. Just a tiny little bit.

At times, we are happy because things went our way or surprises pop out in the positive light. At times, we are sad because things obviously make an U-turn on you. At times, we are frustrated, because we kept repeating the same mistakes/same things again and again but people just dont get it. Meeting you ahead are the challenges. All, already fixed and timed in your life. How are you going to overcome them? (Look, my question asks more than what I expect on the surface.) Faith.

Sometimes, I love myself to the core, to the max. Sometimes, I hated myself- when I did wrong things. When I reflect, I see myself in different ways. How are we going to use the compassion in us to look at ourselves in the mirror, loving yourself more than you did yesterday. How are we going to use the compassion to look at, others.

Pardon me for being so... incoherent. Ideas just jump out whenever they like to. haha

Learning to love my new part time work as a tutor. Earning is one, but the one that makes me calm down whenever Im worried of teaching is that, Im there to guide the kids. Im lending out a helping hand. Though, I cant say that thats totally a volunteery act. But at least, with that Im not giving myself too much stress that might turn things bad and Im not as mercenary as some of my friends. They curse and swear at the kids and their families when they dont pay him. Seriously. Whats the point of swearing? Karma is strict.

Wanting to earn more, cos Im spending more than Im supposed to. Thats just to cover up the debit.

Went to Suddenly Slender slimming centre to try out their treatment. Lympathic Drainage, Sauna, Scrub and their signature Body Mineral Wrap with 175 mineral. Im not doing an advert on this btw. I just went for once, and I didnt SUDDENLY get SLENDER as suggested by their name. Even though results aint evident by just looking at my figure, but sure there are inches lost. 9.6inches, to be exact. Overall. Their promotions are really tempting, topped up with their SUPER PERSUASIVE consultant, I totally wanted to sign up for their package. But, money issue. hahaha Bought their discount coupon at groupon.sg selling at 38bucks then.

Happy, cos Ive lost 9.6inches. Weight isnt a good measurement though. cos some, water retention, some heavy bones etc etc.

And after this treatment and a little bit of influence by Jolin Tsai's yet-to-published slimming book, Im even more determined to get slim healthily. Not to get skinny/bony but, curvy slim. Good body figure that is. I bet, a lot of people out there wanted that too right! haha

gonna purchase the book! :D
