Dear Invictus, it's been really long since I have posted something here. Just wanna do a quick update, Im currently in Japan and will be here for the next 2 years.
I look forward to learning from the professors, friends and excited to see and experience what's gonna present me in the future!
To my friends who are wondering, I am in Japan, doing my masters' course in Economics. Other than focusing on studying, I am also actively attending many Gakkai meetings as those are really really invigorous and never fails to revitalise my inner being and faith. Hope to be able to tour around Japan during my short breaks.
Aside to these exciting stuff upcoming, I am also learning to live independently and to take tabs on important matters like my diet, health, lifestyle, finances and others.
This is precisely the reason I want to travel out of my own comfort zone to explore and further grow myself entirely :)
Just a month more before it turns 2018, below are some resolutions:
1. 2 friends (something which I am determined and promised)
2. 100 dialogues (something which I am determined and promised)
3. to realise my inner mission which I might not be aware now
4. My human revolution
5. Good grades
6. Explore other parts of Japan
7. Master Japanese and Korean
8. Make good friends

Looking into the New Year!!
Before setting the new year resolutions! Lets see my accomplishments this year!
2013 Memories
Early this year (Jan/Feb), I began searching for travel companion to SKKU for school exchange! And I did my preparations too! Around the same period, I also got notified to be the NDP Trainer of 2013!
Around April, our NDP training begins. And I had my prelims in school too!
Time starts inching into my last examination in May!!!!
Went BKK for the first time in June. And was my first country I ever travelled to (excluding Malaysia)! First time riding in a plane!
(Im always counting down the days to Korea/Bkk even before exams even started lol)
In June, SIMSD was formed! And I assumed the role as a TBZ.
Shortly after BKK, it was the FRICKING KOREA!!!!! DREAM CAME TRUE. TOO SURREAL TO BELIEVE THOUGH. FELT LIKE A FAIRY TALE. Missed my family for the first few days... Once got adapted to the Korea culture etc, when it was about time for us to leave Korea, we were already missing Korea's stuff... it happens to everyone anyway.
When I came back from Korea, its already ending July! The moment I alighted from the plane, calls came in from family that they are waiting at arrival gate with my favourite aunt! yay mummy papa! Had supper with them... Prata crave satisfied. Reached home and slept around 2am. On the very morning, I had to reach HQ by 9am or so? Cos its a Saturday and we have NDP Rehearsal!!!!
In August, we completed our final round of NDP show on the 9th!
Results were released and I performed well. Pat on my back. Had birthday celebrations unanimously with different group of friends! (the most happening birthday ever)
SIMSD had our first campus dialogue in the September!
Met up with a few senior leaders and got encouraged to take up the Chapter leader role. New mission in new year after the 11.18.2013. SIMSD also commenced our FIRST EVER INSTITUTION MEETING IN OCTOBER!
November marks us ushering into the new era of kosen-rufu! The opening ceremony of the Japan SGI HQ! All of us had our personal zone GM to help out in!
We started the end of the month; December, with attending the NTUC FUN CARNIVAL on the 1st December! Mum kinda conquered her fear with the swimming pool at Wild Wild Wet hahah
We went to the Legoland for 2 days with aunt's family too! Its indeed fun filled!
The most happening christmas ever (not clubbing nor heavy partying) but a giving christmas where I packed gifts for my family in secrecy. ahhahha Christmas itself, I watched 3 movies (The Mermaid, Ella Enchanted and The Polar Express) before we went to have a house party at my uncle's place!
That concludes my 2013! I believe it could be better though!

Korea Day 29 to Gyeonggi-do!
2nd school tour to Korea folk museum at gyeonggi-do, then Taekwondo and end with Noraebang at night with friends!
We woke up early, walked over to school in the rainy day... I remembered we climbed the slope with umbrella and me wearing slippers... lol road was pretty slippery
Anyway, we went to school early cos... we wanted to secure the bus MoA is in! but then, due to uncertainty, we changed to bus 7? we were in bus 11 by the way... End up, bus 7 tour guide is the lady who brought us around during the first school tour to Gyeong Bok Goong! We dont really like her cos she doesnt know how to control her tour group leh...
And despite being early, we couldnt be with MoA :( and I went, "모아야 어디에가요???? ㅠㅠ"
Oh! and in korea, you have to put on seat belt for tour bus when in expressway!
Anyway, reached the place!
traditional korean game!
Performance!
Performance was pretty repetitive and I was at the back so I couldnt see a thing!! Hence, I went around to snap photos when nobody was around... No photobombers!
Photobomber!
Crowding around the prison's torturing equipments! Seeing photo experiencing it themselves! and spot MoA!
MoA!
There's a prison room that tourists get to enter and pose for a photo... I thought it was pretty creepy so I didnt! There are others who did it though!
대장금!
Chimney!
성균관 스캔들! 유천오빠!!
A REAL COW!
some statue that protects the village. yin and yang. male and female.
Restrooms are available! No worries!
White horse!
Head over to the wedding ceremony!
entrance of the bride!
Lunch afterwhich! we dont have to pay for this! I suppose we have already paid for it under the Activity Fees before the exchange itself... Bulgogi for all! it was okay! For vegetarian, Bibimbap is available!
There are food place, souvenir shops, convenience shop, kpop shop, restrooms, dessert store avail in the museum!
after, its free time! we went exploring!
bus over to taekwondo venue!
it started off with the students in taekwondo suit performing to us. omg their performance seriously beyond words can explain! when they kick, punch, yell in unison, its so fantastic! u can feel their energy even far away!! its just goosebumps... should have taken a video!!
then, we were all told to get up and get down to the ground and try taekwondo! so we tried a few of their moves! we were even asked to try hitting the cushion; both kicking and punching! a few of friends went away to toilet hahah i guess they didnt want to participate! whichever it is, its pretty fun experience! i mean, we dont get to learn everything, its just trying... and since you are here in korea and taekwondo is their national sport, why not try it? no harm! worse come to worse, the students laugh at you only lo! but there are so many people trying it! laugh together lo! hahah
see skku students infront of the taekwondo people? we are actually waiting for our turn to break our pine wood! we were given one and a marker after the taekwondo experience! suppose to break what you hate, or what wishes u want to fulfill!
show you my wood later!
photo taking!
we got off outside SKKU! and then, we went to check out for Jimjilbang in hyehwa cos I read somewhere that there is one! we randomly asked one teaching assistant, and she was very kind to bring us there... partly cos she's going towards the direction to board her bus too
This is the one! Its opposite Kang Ho Dong bbq restaurant in hyehwa! Can get here from the Hyehwa station, exit 4, walk between the lane of ZioZia and Baskin Robbins... you should see a green colour convenience shop (forgot what its called), then theres a lane at the left side! Turn into the lane! u will see Kang Ho Dong man size poster!
The pricing! this is pretty small... smaller than dragonhill spa and siloam i think...
Experience (we did jimjilbang on another day):
1) On the first level where you find the counter, once you enter, you have to take off your shoes.
2) On the first level, too, you have the shoes locker. You keep your shoes in the locker assigned.
3) Head over to the ladies level for changing/showering/clean up/locker.
4) at the level, you will find the naked ladies and ahjumma! HAHHA
5) At the level too, you find your own locker, keep your bags and valuable. Change into the jimjilbang clothes. NO TOILETS. you are suppose to bathe then change... but we were shy and bathed earlier so we told the ahjumma that and we just change our clothings...
6) For jimjilbang, head over to common area for the heated and cold rooms!
we went back to the samgyetang shop that we initially wanted to eat at but was unfortunately closed!
The entrance!
the interior! we went into the room. so have to take off our shoes!
and... my pine wood! HAHHA the taekwondo guy told me, he saw snsd... walao.. like envy much la
But well, i saw them too! but that was during concert! I wish to see them up close and like get to talk to them or something? even if its awhile. but heh impossibru! cos im sure many many fans out there want that too!
